Yesterday was a work day here on Mata'irea. Sten continued with his generator project. I took one look at the fallout, and hightailed it ashore with four bags full of laundry. 3 loads, 5 hours and $60 later, I returned to a sparkling clean salon and galley and a fully functioning generator. What a guy.Today the internet connection here was finally steady and strong. I spent most of the day chatting with our friends Jay and John, and we both had the chance to talk to our families. It was awesome to reconnect with folks back home. Afterwards, we headed ashore to do some more shopping. Once again, the Carrefour was closed, so we wandered about a bit before finding ourselves back at Mickey D's for milkshakes and fries.
