March 6, 2008 - Dunedin

We spent the day exploring the rolling, grass covered hills and sandy beaches of the Otago Peninsula, which is home to yellow-eyed and little blue penguins, and a few varieties of albatross. Back in Dunedin, we checked out the late night scene (mind you, for us, these days anything after 9pm constitutes late night) in this bustling college town. After a few hours of intense observation, aided and abetted by a few Speight's, "The Pride of the South," we have determined that college kids are pretty much the same everywhere - drunk and horny. The only differences are that here in New Zealand they are obsessed with rugby rather than football, and you might find them drinking bottles of wine rather than beer due to the local BYO laws.
