One of the nicest things about living on a boat in Newport Harbor is all the great stuff within walking distance. Just up the hill from us are not one but two old school movie theaters. Between the Jane Pickens and the Opera House we are spoiled for choice. In a few weeks the second film in the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy is opening at the Pickens. Since we hadn't yet seen the first film (it opened around the same time we were devouring the third book in South Africa) we were stoked to hear that the Opera House would be reshowing it. So this evening we caught the launch ashore, strolled through the sweltering town and slipped into the Opera House for a few hours of air conditioned entertainment.
